This Privacy Policy describes how the Docket Mirror extension ("we," "us," or "our") handles information. This policy applies to the Docket Mirror extension available on the Chrome Web Store.
Docket Mirror is designed to minimize data collection. To provide and authenticate its services, the extension handles the following data:
The information handled by the extension is used for two exclusive purposes: docket comparison and license validation.
We do not collect, store, sell, or transfer your personal information. Specifically, we do not handle:
We take data security seriously. All network traffic between the extension and our license server uses HTTPS encryption. A positive license validation result is stored in Chrome’s local storage (chrome.storage.local), which is sandboxed per profile and encrypted by the browser, to reduce the need for frequent checks.
Local Cache: The license status flag is automatically deleted from your browser's local storage seven (7) days after it is stored.
Server Logs: GAIA IDs may be temporarily present in our server logs for operational troubleshooting and security purposes, after which they are purged.
You can remove the locally cached license data at any time by clearing the extension's storage in your Chrome browser settings. Uninstalling the extension will remove all locally stored data immediately. To request deletion of any GAIA ID that may appear in server logs, please contact us.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
