How It Works
At Case Monitor, we’ve streamlined the process of tracking defendants on bond and probation. Our tool automates the search and monitoring process, giving you the information you need without the manual effort. Here’s how it works:
Defendants Out on Bond
- CaseNet Search: Using your Missouri Bar Number, our tool searches CaseNet for all your upcoming court appearances over the next four months.
- Data Extraction: The tool extracts the defendants’ names and case numbers from your scheduled court appearances.
- Monitoring for New Charges: It then searches CaseNet using the defendants’ names to check if they have any cases with a more recent charge date than your existing case.
- Notifications: If any new cases are found, you’ll receive an immediate notification.
- Document Creation: If you’ve enabled document creation in your dashboard, the tool will automatically draft a bond revocation Word document for your review.
Defendants on Probation
- Provide Defendant Information: For defendants on probation, simply provide their names.
- Search and Monitor: The tool will search CaseNet for any new cases involving these defendants.
- Notifications and Documents: As with bond cases, you’ll receive notifications of any new charges, and bond revocation documents will be automatically generated if enabled.
