At Case Monitor, we understand the challenges prosecuting attorneys face when managing large caseloads. The idea for Case Monitor came about when my partner, a prosecuting attorney, was overwhelmed by the number of cases she was handling. Many of her defendants out on bond and probation were committing new crimes in other counties, and she wasn’t aware of it. Manually searching each case was time-consuming, and she simply didn’t have the time.
To solve this problem, I built a tool that could automatically search for new cases and alert her when any of her defendants were charged with new crimes. The tool proved to be incredibly effective, saving her time and helping her stay on top of her caseload. Seeing how useful it was, I decided to offer it to other prosecuting attorneys across Missouri.
Since then, Case Monitor has become an invaluable resource for prosecuting attorneys. It has helped them track cases more efficiently, ensuring that they have the information they need to take timely action. We are proud to support the important work they do in keeping our communities safe.
